Poverty and corruption is the main problem of the country in
this present time. This two are fueling each other which causes stagnant
economic growth of low income people, which is majority of the population.
Some people are diving to corruption because of poverty, and
poverty is being further fueled because of corruption. Poor people are still
blinded by small helps; poor people keep begging for help while the truth is, the
poor deserves the wealth of the nation – the wealth that was generated from
small consumption of each poor individuals. Poor should not beg for help, it is
the right of the poor to have a share in the wealth of nation. No person should
claim that he uplifted the economy based on his or her competencies; the economy
is growing because people are working and building the country, thus the credit
should be given to the hard workers and not a single person. Taxes were
generated from the blood and sweat of the common people.
The next president of the country should fight poverty and
corruption at the same time. Focusing the fight to poverty alone will not
uplift the poor because corruption will prevent poverty reduction. On one hand,
focusing on corruption would not elevate the well-being of the poor since
poverty would lead most likely to corruption. The key is to hit the target with
two bow and arrow; the next president should focus on the two – not one but
two.

The nation will not truly progress as long as poverty and corruption exist - dishonesty in the government and the private sector.
