Philippine Economist was established, on August 8, 2011, to do research on the latest economic issues faced by the Philippines. Philippine Economist developed the Philippine Economist Stock Risk Index (PESRi) to measure the risk in the Philippines stock market relative to price volatility and stock liquidity. Philippine Economist also provides stock forecasts based on the PESRi model.
